Vongvilay is a Principal Environmental & Social Specialist at ESL with more than 15 years of experience. She graduated with a Master of Applied Science in Environmental Studies from University of Tasmania (UTAS), Australia.
Vongvilay has been involved in a number of wastes management, baseline surveys, environmental and social impact assessment, and village consultation surveys for hydropower, mining, and other industries projects in Lao PDR. She has also experience in coordination and project planning, quality assurance, quality control, data collection, data processing and analysis and report writing. Her project involvement includes NamOu Hydropower Project ESIA, Thakho Hydropower Project ESIA and ESIA add-on, JICA Pakbo-Saravan Transmission Line IEE, EMP and RAP, MMG SEIA of GPDA Oxide Expansion, MMG Livelihood Development Plan, Phu Bia – Phu Kham socio-economic baseline study, Argonaut Century Gold-Copper Project Baseline Study, Hinboun Expansion Hydropower Project, and Phonesavanh Mine EIA and socio-economic baseline study, etc.Click here to change this text
