EIR, EMP, Resettlement & Compensation for Upgrading Bridge & Road N8

Company Background:
The Upgrading Bridge & Road N8 project is a collaboration between the Lao government and DONG IL Engineering, a globally recognized South Korean engineering services and consulting firm. The project is designed in accordance with ASEAN highway standards.

Services Provided:
ESL conducted the Environmental Impact Review (EIR), Environmental Management Plan (EMP), and Resettlement & Compensation services for the project. The services included:

Inception Reports:

    • Preparation of inception reports outlining the survey plan, including objectives, methodology, resources, and time line.

Draft Reports:

    • Drafting of EIR, EMP, and Resettlement & Compensation reports (in English) for review by the client.

Final Reports:

    • Preparation of final EIR, EMP, and Resettlement & Compensation reports in both English and Lao.

Database and GIS:

    • Creation of a database for survey results, GIS maps, and data files.

Hard Copies:

    • Provision of 10 hard copies of the final reports (English version) for each document (EIR, EMP, and RC).
