COMMUNICATION & RESEARCH INTERN
ESL Company Limited (ESL) is a Lao-owned environmental and social consulting firm with 25+ years of experience and nearly 100 successful projects across the country, supporting sustainable development in sectors like mining, energy, agriculture, and urban planning. We are looking for a motivated Communication & Research Intern to support our work in communication, social media, and field research.
Location: Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR
Contract Type: Full-Time (Long-term contract with annual review and renewal)
Position Overview:
The role blends social media and marketing support with opportunities in fieldwork and research related to socio-economic/environmental studies, ideal for creative and detail-oriented individuals eager to contribute to impactful environmental and social projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update company social media (Facebook, LinkedIn) with engaging content.

Draft newsletters, posts, website content, and project updates.

Assist with media, design, and event communications.

Support Photograph events, meetings, and draft meeting minutes.

Support fieldwork (enumeration, socio-economic studies) when required.

Help organize workshops and community activities.

Provide general support to the admirative work, as well as project teams.
Qualifications:

Fresh graduate in Communications, Marketing, Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, IT, Business, or a related field.

Strong interest in communication, social media, and research.

Good communication and writing skills in English (Lao language skills are an advantage).

Creative mindset, with skills in Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe tools, or video editing.

Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.

Willingness to travel and participate in field activities.
