WWF – World Wide Fund for Nature Office in Laos (WWF-Laos) was officially established in 2001. The main office is in Vientiane Capital, with field offices in Savannakhet, Champassak, Salavan, and Xekong provinces.

Services provided:
ESL conducts the consulting service to compile the Municipal Solid Waste Management (MSWM) Profiles for three selected key urban locations, including:

  1. Vientiane Capital,
  2. Luang Prabang,
  3. Vang Vieng.

The services include:

  • An overview of target cities’ formal waste management systems.
  • An assessment of the recovery and recycling sector.
  • A baseline waste flow scoping assessment.
  • A consumer’s knowledge and behavior assessment on waste pollution and waste management.
  • Consolidated Municipal Solid Waste Management (MSWM) Profiles for Vientiane Capital, Luang Prabang, and Vang Vieng.
